About
Dennis & Kathy
Thank you for visiting our About page. Kathy and I live in beautiful Mountain City, Tennessee, with our German shepherd, Justice. When we moved here, we purchased our first RV and lived in it full-time while we developed our property.
We loved the RV we bought, but it took us only a short time to learn that beautiful does not mean trouble or worry-free. Our brand-new RV had a leak when it rained, a heating issue, an inability to receive a TV signal from our dish, and many other issues.
Since we lived in it full-time, we could not just bring it to the dealer, and there were no reliable mobile service technicians we could call on. So, I had to learn to troubleshoot and fix the issues myself.
This experience led me to seek further education, certifications, and a brand new career as an RV service technician.

Who Is Dennis Root
I want to tell you a little bit about myself. This is important because you should know who you invite into your home.
I was born and raised in Florida. I proudly served as a law enforcement professional and expert consultant for over thirty years. My duty assignments in law enforcement included Road Patrol, Traffic, Detective, Training, Canine, and Internal Affairs. I guess you could say I’ve been there and done that.
After leaving law enforcement, I served as an expert witness and wrote a book on investigations. Since I had already spent decades as a law enforcement trainer, I decided to teach my investigations programs across the United States.
After retiring from my second career, I wanted to continue helping people. Given my RV experience and everything Kathy and I went through, it seemed only natural to use what I learned to help others. So, I decided to pursue professional certifications in RV repairs and inspections.
I wanted to share all of this so you would understand that my background, training, and experience give me a unique insight into examining issues and finding answers. My core values are honor, integrity, and accountability. I approach every task methodically, and I hold service to others as the highest calling.
